Miglianico Montepulciano D'Abruzzo

In 1961, to help local farmers compete with the biggest wineries in Abruzzo, Don Vincenzo Pizzica formed a co-operative in the small village of Miglianico. Today they number three hundred and collectively farm five hundred hectares of prime Abruzzese vines, focusing as they have always done on the region’s signature grapes.

Hand harvested, this wine has aromas of red fruit, fresh and intense, followed by delicate spicy notes. Intense and persistent body, light tannins and balanced finish. Aged in concrete tanks.
