Heaphy Sauvignon Blanc

From the Nelson region of New Zealand situated on the northwest of the south island - next door to the more widely known Marlborough region. This is a lovely wine which is a cut above a lot of other NZ Sauvignon’s on the market at a similar price. A breezy, maritime nose of seagrass and salinity with pink citrus notes greets a palate of concentrated margarita zest, green and red apple notes with a rich mouthfeel, fine leesy texture and an intense finish of breadth, freshness and further telltale salinity. Feels like a breezy walk on a sunny beach. Works fantastically well with rich dishes such as scallops seared in butter or chilli prawn linguine as well as goats cheese
